I started The Nitpicky Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2018 after losing my dad in a way that seemed to stop the world around me. I felt so overwhelmed when emerged from my "grief coma" to see how much work I had to do at home. Most of the stress in my environment was stemming from disorganization, which then made it harder to keep up with cleaning. Until then, our home had always been very clean That's when I realized that having strong systems to rely on would have helped my husband while I My original focus was on all-natural cleaning using Norwex cloths, but I felt like clients were missing out on that clean smell we all love. So, to ensure the products were safe and effective, I began making our exclusive line of cleaning products, Nitpicky Naturals, by hand. Although I had been offering Organizing and Closet + Storage Design services to existing clients since opening, we officially added them to the service menu in the summer of 2019.

We offer a unique approach in that we focus our attention on providing the most natural and eco friendly options to our clients. We use our own, exclusive line of products, Nitpicky Naturals and always offer the most eco friendly choices to our organizing and design clients as well. We tailor our services to our client's unique needs and lifestyle. This is not a one size fits all operation here. We have strong core beliefs that we stand by every day.
